Bedside Debridements

Dead or infected tissue can delay healing. Our clinicians perform bedside debridements using sterile, precise methods to remove unhealthy tissue and stimulate new growth.

This service helps prevent infection and creates a clean environment for the wound to heal properly. Bedside debridement can be performed safely during home visits or at one of our wound care clinics.

Wound Vac Assistance

Vacuum-assisted closure, or wound vac therapy, helps promote healing in deeper or complex wounds by gently applying negative pressure.

Our team manages wound vac systems, ensuring proper seal placement, monitoring fluid output, and adjusting settings as needed for optimal results.

Wound Dressing Selection

Choosing the right wound dressing is crucial for healing. At West Coast Wound & Skin Care, we assess each wound’s characteristics—such as moisture level, depth, and infection status—to determine the best dressing materials.

We use a range of advanced dressings designed to protect the wound, promote tissue repair, and reduce pain. Our clinicians also provide education on how to maintain dressings between visits.

Skin Grafting

For wounds that do not respond to conventional care, skin grafting may be necessary to restore damaged tissue. Our experienced providers perform skin grafting procedures with precision and care, supporting proper adherence and minimizing complications.
