The medical facility did nothing to provide any kind of lasting wound care, any kind of education that would help keep the patient and their families from returning, over and over again. 

The only solution the medical facility provided was to return to the medical facility for wound care. 

Our founders knew that there had to be a better way. Instead of simply going to the medical facility whenever a patient needed wound care, why not treat the patient in their home? Why not give them what they needed to be able to heal their wounds without having to leave the place where they felt most comfortable.  That’s where West Coast Wound Care was born. 

Today, West Coast Wound Care heals wounds throughout California, Nevada, Florida, Illinois, Arizona, Colorado, and elsewhere. We can provide mobile wound care throughout not just Burbank but the greater Burbank area. 

That’s what we provide. Our goal is to reduce or even eliminate our patients’ need for regular office or hospital visits. Instead of having to transfer to acute care facilities, we can provide complex wound care in a place of your choosing. That can be your home or some other facility, the point is, you get to decide – not someone else. 

For the most part, our mobile wound care provides treatment in homes. Houses, apartments, ADUs – if there’s a person who needs wound care in a building, our experienced specialists can provide treatment. 

That said, we can also provide treatment to assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, and board and cares as well. In short, wounds. Here at West Coast Wound Care, our specialists can provide the kind of holistic care that your wounds or the wounds of someone you love require. To be more specific, we can treat a wide range of wounds as well as conditions. 

For example, many of the wounds that we treat are post-surgical wounds. After all that your body has been through, we can treat your post-surgical wounds so that your recovery time is minimal and you can heal properly.
