Do you want wound care with proven results for you or a loved one? Are you tired of continually going to a far away medical facility for wound care? We created West Coast Wound Care to help. Our specialists can provide holistic, healing wound care treatment for Burbank and the surrounding area.
We understand the challenges that wounds and caring for them can present. To that end, we combine evidence-based medicine and modern technology for the wound care results you deserve.
Wound Care Where You Live
Before our founders started West Coast Wound Care, they provided wound care in medical facilities. Patients would come in, receive wound care, and then be released to their homes. But, then, the same patients would return for further wound care. Then, they would return again, and again. The medical facility did nothing to provide any kind of lasting wound care, any kind of education that would help keep the patient and their families from returning, over and over again.
The only solution the medical facility provided was to return to the medical facility for wound care.
Our founders knew that there had to be a better way. Instead of simply going to the medical facility whenever a patient needed wound care, why not treat the patient in their home? Why not give them what they needed to be able to heal their wounds without having to leave the place where they felt most comfortable. That’s where West Coast Wound Care was born.
Today, West Coast Wound Care heals wounds throughout California, Nevada, Florida, Illinois, Arizona, Colorado, and elsewhere. We can provide mobile wound care throughout not just Burbank but the greater Burbank area.

Complex Wound Care Made Simple
That’s what we provide. Our goal is to reduce or even eliminate our patients’ need for regular office or hospital visits. Instead of having to transfer to acute care facilities, we can provide complex wound care in a place of your choosing. That can be your home or some other facility, the point is, you get to decide – not someone else.
For the most part, our mobile wound care provides treatment in homes. Houses, apartments, ADUs – if there’s a person who needs wound care in a building, our experienced specialists can provide treatment.
That said, we can also provide treatment to assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, and board and cares as well. If you feel like there’s a possibility that you or someone you love could benefit from wound care treatment, we encourage you to reach out to us and request an appointment. We’ll be more than happy to talk to you and yours about how we may be able to help.
What We Treat
In short, wounds. Here at West Coast Wound Care, our specialists can provide the kind of holistic care that your wounds or the wounds of someone you love require. To be more specific, we can treat a wide range of wounds as well as conditions.
For example, many of the wounds that we treat are post-surgical wounds. After all that your body has been through, we can treat your post-surgical wounds so that your recovery time is minimal and you can heal properly.
We can also treat malignant wounds, those wounds that have invaded your skin and blood vessels. Beyond that, we also treat cellulitis wounds as well. Those bacterial infections that burrow into the deeper layers of your skin, we can treat them as they should be treated.
Cuts, lacerations, puncture, and other kinds of traumatic wounds can also be treated by our team. If your wounds are caused by bites or something similar, we can treat those as well.
Ulcers
Many turn to our mobile wound care for ulcer treatment as well. Pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous ulcers – we can treat these ulcers with the best methods and technology, yes, but also with the utmost compassion and caring.
Tumors, Infections, and Disorders
Beyond care for wounds, we can also provide treatment for serious conditions as well. For example, we’re able to effectively treat basal cell and melanoma cancers, squamous cell, actinic keratosis, Keratoacanthoma, and Seborrheic Keratosis among others.
In terms of skin infections, we have effectively treated herpes Zoster/Shingles, as well as herpes Simplex, staph infections, scabies, and tinea as well as other infections.
Many of our patients have trusted us to provide them with proper treatment for inflammatory disorders, such as Seborrheic Dermatitis, Atopic Dermatitis, Interigo, Psoriasis, and Rosacea.
Other Conditions We Treat
You don’t need to have one of those treatments mentioned above to be able to receive treatment from us. Indeed, many have turned to us for effective treatment for their reactions to various drugs, heat rash, atrophy and sun damage, as well as just dry, itchy skin.
If you didn’t see the exact wound that you or someone you care about is struggling with, that does not mean we’re unable to provide treatment. We encourage you to contact us for an appointment so that we can best discuss how we could provide quality care.

Treatments We Provide
Every wound requires the proper care for that specific wound. Our wound care specialists conduct a comprehensive analysis before they provide you or your loved ones care. That way, you’re always receiving the exact, specific, and best care for your individual needs.
For example, many of our patients require surgical debridements. Through this, we utilize the most cutting-edge methods and tech so as to securely and comprehensively remove any damaged tissue to prevent further damage and risk of infection.
For others, the best treatment isn’t to remove the damaged tissue, but, instead to provide a transplant. Through this, the area can heal. That’s what our skin grafting can do. With these grafts, blood vessels don’t just grow, they heal the affected area, improving not just that specific area for your overall health.
Through creating suction on the wound, after first dressing and healing it, we can remove fluid from your wounds gently, bring the edges of the wound together in a safe way, and ultimately help the wound to shorten and narrow, all while assisting healthy tissue to grow in that area all that much faster. That’s just some of what our wound vac assistance can do.
What’s mentioned above are just some of our wound care treatments. Each of them are a form of treatment that, in the very recent past, the only way to receive them would be to leave the comfort and safety of your dwelling and go into an office/medical facility. Now, you don’t have to. We can, quite literally, bring these treatments to you.
Of course, we can do more than just bring these treatments. We can provide these and many others as well. When we go over your wounds, we’ll find the best way to treat not just your wounds, but to treat you.
Beyond Wound Care: Nutrition, Mobility, and More
Treating a person’s wounds is about so much more than just treating their wounds. It’s about treating the person, to make sure that they’re receiving the care that they deserve.
Your body, mind, and spirit are all connected. For your optimal health and wellness, we treat them all. To that end, we treat the underlying cause of the wound and treat that, too, in conjunction with all other treatments.
For example, we take into account all of the most pertinent factors of your healing, be they intrinsic and extrinsic. We do not focus solely on the surgical aspects, but on the whole person.
To that end, we’ll work with your nutritionist, physical therapist, and others to make sure that we’re helping you to receive the nutrition you need for your mobility as well as your health.
See, when we treat you, we don’t just treat you, we talk to you, too. Beyond simply providing you treatments, we’ll provide you with plenty of education, too. We’re constantly discussing with our patients everything and anything that could be affecting their wound healing, both good and bad.
Beyond that, we can educate you and yours on the proper use of wound dressings and several of our other tools. Our goal is to make sure you have the best wound care, whether our specialists are by your side as well as when we aren’t.
We know that many of our patients have had to leave their homes for wound treatment quite often. You do not have to do that anymore. Instead, we can come to you. In fact, we can come to you not just once but on a consistent basis. Indeed, weekly visits are available. Our goal is always to provide not just the wound care you need but to provide that wound care when you need it.
